Hello All,
Does IMSLP have anyone 'officially' attending? I can't say I see any sessions to be given by any of the familiar names around here. For those interested:
International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML) Conference
Montréal, Canada
22 July – 27 July 2012
The organization website is here: http://www.iaml.info/, with the confence programme (pdf) here: http://www.iaml.info/files/2012/montreal_programme.pdf.
I notice that there are many 'digital library' topics that might be of great interest to this community. I will be attending at my own expense. I am the librarian for my orchestra and, of course, a frequent contributor to this library.
Homer.

I note with great interest that there's to be a Peachnote-related talk given by Vladimir Viro, the guy who designed our search by melody and PDF viewer features, on the 23rd. Other than that I don't see any familiar names either, but it looks like there are many, many topics at least somewhat relevant to IMSLP. Thanks for bringing this up, I for one hadn't been aware of it; I won't be able to attend myself, but it will be interesting to know if anyone else from IMSLP will be going. If not then I guess you're our 'official' attendeehomerdundas wrote:I can't say I see any sessions to be given by any of the familiar names around here.
