Rossini, La Donna del Lago

Post by steltz »

I'm looking for a full score of Rossini's La Donna del Lago. Apart from Ricordi's recent critical edition, there might be an older one around that didn't have an editor, or an editor that would be PD by now.

Failing that, I could use a piano score of Malcolm's aria that starts " Elena, o, tu che chiamo" .

The major part of forgotten operas (at least forgotten inthe first part of XX century) weren't printed in full scores during the XIX. So the very good (but expensive) scores published by Ricordi for Rossini are the unique source. The project should have continued with Donizetti, but apart a first succesful start around 1985, the project was abandoned.
I have a heavy manuscript full score from Florence. I'm going to upload it.
