Mendelssohn - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Post by Kleinigkeiten »

Hey, everyone,

I wonder if anyone knows where I could get a piano solo arrangement of the entire Midsummer Night's Dream. I've already got the Wedding March, of course, but that's about it and I'd really love to have the entire work.

Thanks in advance.

You can use the piano-vocal score, at least for the purely instrumental sections:
"A libretto, a libretto, my kingdom for a libretto!" -- Cesar Cui (letter to Stasov, Feb. 20, 1877)

Thanks, man, it's good enough for me :D
Now to go and tickle the ivories for a good while ;)

"For certain people the mere sight of my name on a placard or in a paper is a red rag to a bull. They attribute me to a whole world of absurdities hatched in their own little brains; they hear things in my works which don't exist, and fail to hear the things that do. If they were asked their opinion of the chord of D major (being warned beforehand that I had written it) they would exclaim with indignation: 'A detestable chord!'"
