Debussy's version of Flying Dutchman overture for 2 pianos!

Hi everybody!
I'm looking DESPERATELY for the score of the Debussy's version of the Wagner's Flying dutchman overture. This is a version reduced for two pianos. I really need it because we are rehearsing a theater play with two pianists, and this piece is the key of the musical proposal for the show. So we really need this score. If someone has it, please add it to this wonderful web! Or please give me a clue to find it or buy it somewhere. I live in Madrid, Spain. Thank you very much for your help! Cheers!

Estoy buscando DESESPERADAMENTE la partitura de la reducción para dos pianos que hizo Debussy de la obertura del Holandés Errante de Wagner. Estrenamos dentro de poco una obra de teatro, con acompañamiento de dos pianistas, y esta pieza es el leit motiv musical del espectáculo, así que realmente necesitamos la partitura de dicha versión! Si alguno la tiene, por favor, que la suba a esta maravillosa página para poder acceder a ella! Y si no, al menos agradezco alguna pista de dónde conseguirla, o dónde se podría comprar. Not so. It was first published by Durand (in a very limited printing run) in 1889 under plate 4131. If found (no libraries in the US own a copy of this rare score) and uploaded, it would be public domain everywhere.

He also arranged some dances from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake when he was traveling in Russia with Madame Von Meck. They were published by Jurgenson. I have recently obtained a copy and will of course be adding to IMSLP in the future.

Unfortunately, in this worldcat page they say that I should search a copy in the Munich State library, because there are no other copies in Spain or nearby. This gives an idea of the challenge that means getting a copy of this rare score. I don't know if the information provided for that web is to be trusted, but in any case, my problem is not solved, as long as, of course, I won't be travelling to Germany to check if they really have the score. And of course, even if they really have it, I don't have neither the budget, the time, or the insanity for doing such a thing. Does anybody live in munich?
Well, I'm still looking forward for a solution to my problem, so I will be very grateful if someone can give any more clues to get a copy in Spain or via internet. Thanks again!!!

Hallo Bruno,

No need (or even use) to travel to Munich for this score. The new edition which is listed in worldcat is still under copyright protection, so many large libraries will not permit copying, and you could not use these copies for public performances anyway. You would have to buy it. Worldcat lists Editio Armelin Musica in Padova as publisher, you can find that via google: http://www.armelin.it/ Now, either you know a music shop in Madrid that would order it for you, or you can contact them directy by email:
info@armelin.it. "Cat. SDP 001 Wagner/Debussy Il Vascello fantasma" lists for 22,00 euro plus shipping.

But searching again I also found one source for the old Durand edition, which is free and could be copied (originally I had overlooked this, thanx daphnis):
I searched at http://www.ubka.uni-karlsruhe.de/kvk/kvk/kvk_en.html, with vaisseau and debussy
and found the edition in the Italian Union Catalog:
Biblioteca e Archivio musicale dell'Accademia nazionale di S. Cecilia - Roma (19 + 13 pages)
You could ask via email at bibliomediateca@santacecilia.it for copies, but doubt that you would save a lot of money.

There may be other copies in card-catalogs that cannot be searched in the internet...

I will certainly do what you suggest. Even if I have to spend some money to get the score and use it, it will worth it. I''ll wait a couple of days for the possibility that someone in the forum may have extra information, but anyway this data has been very helpful. Best regards!

There was another entry of the Durand edition in the Library Network of Western Switzerland:
Initially I couldn't find library info (everything in french...),
but now I found out, this copy is in Lausanne, at the Bibliothèque Cantonale et Universitaire
