Hi all. I'm really keen to get hold of the Naples MS of Poppea as I have the Venice one already. If you know of any way of getting hold of it, I'd really appreciate it. Many thanks and what a brilliant site!

If this can be of help: according to the Music section "Online Public Access Catalogue" (OPAC) of the Italian Library Service (see http://www.sbn.it/opacsbn/opac/iccu/musica.jsp) a manuscript transcription by Malipiero exists at the Bliblioteca Marciana in Venice (document code IT\ICCU\DM\98111100093), with the following remarks:
i.e.:Note manoscritte di G.F.Malipiero precisano che questa edizione riproduce anche il Manoscritto di Napoli, recentemente ritrovato dal Prof. Guido Gasperini.(Probabilmente quella usata per Napoli nel 1651).
MaxManuscript notes bt G.F. Malipiero specify that this edition also reproduces the Maunscript of Naples, recently rediscovered by Prof. Guido Gasperini. (likely the one used for Naples in 1651).
