[BUG] Ampersand in title

Post by huwdaniel »

I am trying to access this page:

http://imslp.org/wiki/Sonate_da_Camera% ... _Frideric)

but it doesn't open properly (presumably because of the ampsersand in the title). Is there a way of getting round this, and accessing the pdf file?[/url]

Leonard, will you also fix the Debussy page "Sonata for Flute..."
It too has an ampersand

Done. You can actually fix such pages by yourself. You need to edit the URL, changing

Code: Select all

wiki/
to

Code: Select all

index.php?title=
(leave the rest of the URL unchanged). Then you will be able to see the page. You need to repeat the same change again after you click the "move" link. Then you can move the page to a title without ampersand.

I really hope that we'll be able to solve this silly bug in a not-too-distant future...

Does it take some time for the change to take effect? I still get the same missing page...

EDIT: Yes, apparently it does. Thanks for the tips.
