Henryk Melcer - Piano trio g-moll op.2

Post by alina.s.piano »

Hello! I'm looking for the score of a wonderful piano trio by the Polish composer Henryk Melcer. The only source that I found is The Library of Congress (USA) http://lccn.loc.gov/unk84138450 and there's an option of getting the PDF-score paying around 53 dollars. How can I get it?

The federation of Polish libraries has a result: http://pbc.gda.pl/publication?id=8244&from=FBC but their intent to make it available online is obscure  But perhaps ordering a reproduction is cheaper in this country.

does the LoC definitely have the score? That "unk" in the link, well- have you asked them? :) (I asked the LoC a question about Adolf Busch's symphony in E minor- another "unk"-link score- only to find out that "unk" means that the work was requested, a library card created, but may not (... or may) have ever been received by the library... something like that. (I'll double-check the quite good reply I received from one of their librarians...))
