Vaughan Williams and Holst for wind band

Post by steltz »

Would anyone have:

Vaughan Williams English Folk Song Suite (we have the score and the solo clarinet part only)
Holst, Planets, score + parts; at least some of the movements were arranged for band in 1924 and should be PD in Canada and hte life+50 countries

The Folk Song Suite might be a no-go from a parts perspective. Gordon Jacob arranged that for band, so protected there.

Thanks for that info, the WorldCat entry I looked at didn't include that.

Actually the original was for band, Jacob transcribed it for orchestra.
