brahms trios good edition

Post by fermin salaberri »

not long ago there was a really good edition of the complete trios (clarinet and horn included) that I failed to download then. Does anyone have it by any chance? I think it was Henle or Urtext with parts. It was awesome. Does anyone know what happened to those scores?
Thank you very much

I'm not aware of a Brahms trio with both wind intruments. :-( Could you please provide an Opus number? Are there several trios?

The Henle "set" only includes the 3 trios for violin, cello, and piano, along with the early version of the op.8. They sell the clarinet/cello/piano trio separately, and I don't see the violin/horn/piano trio there at all. If there is a series that has all five (six if you count two version of op.8), then I don't think it's Henle.

Coulonnus, thank you very much for your answer. No, there is no clarinet and horn trio I meant the clarinet trio AND the horn trio.

Steltz,

Thank you for the information. As I said, I don't remember the edition but it WAS there, uploaded with the five trios separatedly. Anyway, do you have any of those henle trios with parts to share? thanks

Where all trios on a common Work page? Otherwise there are fairly good editions of these trios on separate work pages.

Due to copyright laws where I live covering editors for the same period as composers, the Henle editions are illegal to copy, upload, download, etc. Sorry . . .
