Holst's Planets for two pianos

I have a scan of a two-piano reduction of Holst's famous orchestral suite, published in 1951. Is this uploadable?

Well... this would depend on who reduced it to the two-piano version; if the reducer (for the lack of a better word) died before 1957, than it is in the public domain in Canada... otherwise I'm afraid not...

well, Holst apparently wrote the two-piano verstion first.... "[The two-piano version] existed before the orchestral score was written out" (printed note on the edition). What do you think?

I'll need to check on this, but I think that Holst's own 2-piano reduction was not published until 1949. It was most likely renewed by Imogen in 1977 or 1978. Renewals from 1978 are on line, and they are getting some of the earlier years up online recently as well. If it wasn't renewed, and no NIE was filed, it's free in the USA also.

Curwen published a 2-piano reduction by Vally Lasker and another person (whose name I can't remeber right now) back in 1921 or 22, which is PD in the USA. It will be a great addition in any case!

So where are the files? I just looked for them and I didn't find it under Gustav Holst's name or with the search function.

I don't think it's up yet, Kongming. I look forward to seeing more Holst on the IMSLP site, though. He's one of my favorite composers. Most of his work is PD here in the US and I think just about everything is free overseas since he died more than 70 years ago.

Yeah, I haven't put the files up yet, sorry... I have some work to do on them still, and I'm incredibly busy right now (two recitals coming up, plus concerto performance with orchestra, schoolwork, other work, help!) I'll try to get it done sometime soon though.
