I'm wondering if anybody has a scan of the English translation for CPE Bach's Essay on the True Art of Playing Keyboard Instruments. I do own a hard copy of the Norton Edition, but it would be really nice to have a digital copy to read on my tablet!
Send me an email if you can help me out.
Many Thanks!
Klaviersonic.

I don't think this will be possible. The first edition (1949), which is the one of which you no doubt speak, was edited and translated by William J Mitchell (d. 1971). This is copyright the world over, and most certainly in the US.

Sorry to nag, and to quote rules, but be slightly careful:klaviersonic wrote:Send me an email if you can help me out.
No criticism of klaviersonic, who probably assumed the translated work is out of copyright. But, from what daphnis says, it isn't, so rule 6 applies.6. IMSLPForums, including the private messaging system, must not be used to facilitate the exchange of copyrighted material.
