Violin and Cello duets for a wedding.

Post by Monkey09 »

Hi everyone,
I've been asked to play at a friend's wedding next month and i am looking for some sheet music for violin and cello. I'm looking for all the usual stuff like pachabels, ave maria and the like.
I'm having some difficulty finding suitable music though...
Is it possible to search for music on this website for specific instrumentation.
Even if this music can't be found here, i'd be willing to buy a book of duets if someone could recommend one!
I'd be really greatful for any advice...Thanks in advance.

Yes it's possible to search, using our new Category Walker - you can go here to sort works for this instrumentation by type, etc. (Click on the 'work genre' link in the left sidebar, in the section marked 'browse scores'.)

Is this violin and cello, with no other instruments (e.g., organ, piano, harp)?

Don't forget that there is also a separate, not overlapping category of arranged works that is frequently very well hidden by the category walker (in this case not that many for violin and cello...)
