I once heard Stravinsky's Petrushka and Mussorgsky's Picture at an exhibition performed on two accordions.

Re: Arrangements You Have Made
You're right. There are often multiple arrangements/transcriptions of classical pieces, each varying slightly. The instrumentation of mine will be different from Jacob's, so the sound will vary slightly in certain places.Melodia wrote:It was transcribed to orchestra by Gordon Jacob under the title "A Hampshire Suite". But that's not to say another one can't be made.

Speaking of arrangements for accordions, here is a link to a performance of Leroy Anderson's Serenata arranged for accordion orchestra.Deinonychus wrote:I once heard Stravinsky's Petrushka and Mussorgsky's Picture at an exhibition performed on two accordions.
