Full first edition - Scarlatti's Essercizi per Gravicembalo

Post by ls256 »

Just wondering if anyone had access to either a facsimile or a real first edition of Scarlatti's only published set of keyboard sonatas. As far as I can tell, republished photocopies of the score (not including any editorial text or prefaces) are not protected by copyright if the original is public domain - which it is! :)

Many thanks!

I had a look at Guide Fayard. Besides the 1738 30 Essercizi there is no edition between the manuscripts and the ca. 1838 edition by Czerny.
