Schumann Duetti da Camera

It seems Schumann wrote more than just the few that we have currently on IMSLP. For instance, Beato che ver isn't here yet, and I take it there are quite a few more still. Lovely vocal duets with piano.

Do you know the Op. numbers? Perhaps some of us will search starting from http://imslp.org/wiki/IMSLP:Universities_and_Libraries :-)

And is there really this Italian form of title? I don't see it in Schumann's Opp. 34 & 78.

Well, we have this:

but I am unconvinced of the title's origins. It is possible that, if Handel was writing these throughout his life, there is no one collection that has all of them.

Beato che ver is HWV 181. Let me do some hunting for the others, and see, for instance what the full Handel urtext collection has them as.

Beato che ver is in there:

And it's not Schumann's! :-) And are you sure the composer wanted a piano accompaniment?

Thank you Coulonnus! (Not surprised it hasn't been separated yet . . . . 190 pages!)
