Post by FactumFirmus »

Hi at all,
I am looking the Vocal Score (SATB + Organ) for Donizetti's requiem.
I have not found anything in WorldCAt.
Thanks you for the help.

Here are two records for the vocal score that I found on the first page of results:
1975 Ricordi edition
Reprint of ca.1870 Lucca edition
The latter would be the one to upload, probably (the first one contains newly translated text among other things - it's not clear if the arrangement is new). Arranger Francesco Almasio died in 1871 so it should be free worldwide.

I own a copy of this edition, and I recall that includes a piano reduction by Vilmos Leskó (alive). I guess it's eligible for copyright, although it's never easy to ascertain how much original material is included in a piano reduction.

Thank you for the answers.

Sorry, but I didn't explain well. I meant that I found nothing in WorldCat without copyright. I need to see it online or download it.

If someone could upload the score I will thank it.
