This problem sounds strange, and I would definitely recommend you try to fix it by installing another suitable antivirus program like Avast.

These programs have different settings, e.g. low, medium, high security. If you are downloading from a site you trust, you can temporarily set the security to low until you have your studies, the set it back to something more severe afterward.

hello everyone, thanx for the technical advice, i knw that u can change the settings, the problem is that the pc im currently using does not belong to me, hence the owner set up a securing code to access such settings.I know that my problem is peculiar but i still hope that you will be able to send me the etudes.

Then you should access the site from a different machine so you can help yourself. We don't email scores to other users, but we can help you find what you need if you can be more specific.

One of the problems with emailing is that some scores on IMSLP, particularly IMSLP EU, are public domain in some countries but not others. You have to take responsibility for only downloading what is public domain in your country, so others can't really do that for you. Sorry. :(

once again thanx for the advice, i realise that you are all weary to assist me with my not so normal problem.Im going to have to resort to asking you for direct links to the etudes-studies that I requested, to be more specific heres what im looking for, as many violin etudes as possible that promote good intonation, accurate high positions preferebly upto 7nth position, arpegios and scale etudes with emphasis to high positions, complex melodies and fingering, and possibly a grand study that i will be able to play perfectly next year in a local competion, i really am focused on learning,if theres one thing ive learnt its that it is easy to make a sound on a violin, but to produce good and real music takes great effort and dedication.
