There are very few Nikolai Tcherepnin scores posted. Sadly though, its also hard to even find many CDs of his music.

It would be nice to get a score to Prelude pour la princesse lointaine, Op.4.

Or even nicer to get a piano reduction for the Enchanted Kingdom, Op.39

It looks like both would be fair game to upload.

We have digitized a handful of his works (see https://urresearch.rochester.edu/viewCo ... ameId=1028). We have 7 more that are identified on our NEH grant list, but neither of the items you want are on that list. our only edition of the Prelude is from 1977, so that's one we can't do, and I don't think we have a score of op.39

Enchanted Kingdom, Op.39 is such a beautiful score, I vaguely recall he may have been asked to score the Firebird before Stravinsky took over. So this may have been his vision of the Firebird, or parts of it (yes, according to Wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Firebird).

Regardless, its a beautiful piece. The priority for adding this should be marked high.

hrm. the author of a biography of Stravinsky also names Sokolov, I think (composer Nikolay Sokolov, not the conductor) as someone approached with the idea of writing the music to the Firebird scenario. Stravinsky was not a first choice there. Anyway, back to topic...

Tcherepnin was probably the first composer in line for Firebird but after this fell through (for whatever reason) I gather that Liadov was approached before Stravinsky.
