I'm looking for a score of Jacobus de Kerle's preces speciales so I can include them in an essay for university, can't seem to find them anywhere, can you help?

I imagine you're writing on the deliberations of the Council of Trent with respect to Latin sacred music? I presume you've looked at Howard M. Brown "Music in the Renaissance" page 278-9. Unfortunately Brown doesn't cite a modern edition of the Preces speciales pro salubri generalis concilii, to give them their full title, when for other composers' works he often gives details of publication. One gets the impression that the ten poems that constitute the Preces were non-liturgical in character, since one of the outcomes of the Tridentine council was to standardise the huge number of liturgical texts that were often freely incorporated into the mass and hours in various places.

I don't think there's a complete works edition of de Kerle's surviving vocal music, so you might have to look for either a special modern edition or find a way to obtain a microfilm for a Renaissance source. I'm at home so I can't look up Grove for you. ;-)

There are recordings made by reputable musicians of pieces from this source. Maybe the program notes would list where they got the music.
