Post your requests from Munich Digitisation Centre
OK, this is still very experimental, but the first tests didn't look all that bad... I made myself a little tool to grab images from the DZM (digitale-sammlungen.de) and generate PDF files. There are some details and a space for requests on this page:
http://imslp.org/wiki/User:Leonard_Vertighel/Requests
(You can also have the code, but be warned that it's a poorly written PHP script which also needs some external programs, so it may not be easy to run.)
I'll probably upload the resulting PDFs to the FTP server. Feel free to flood the page with requests, and this thread with comments, criticism, suggestions...

Hi... as far as Mendelssohn and a handfull of others, I can get them fairly easily from the UME collection. These are 300-400dpi monochrome (i.e. fairly good quality), most from the Breitkopf complete works. (They list 164 titles from Mendelssohn). I'll watch the forum for more requests like this - I just downloaded the Op.27 and can post it in the next day or so. I can transfer about 3 pages per minute plus the usual upload-and-fill-in-the-forms-at-IMSLP. Perhaps we can compare time and quality on some of these scores?

Alexander street press is only available on a subscription basis (to my knowledge). They also have an agreement with Boosey & Hawkes whereby they offer both in-copyright and public domain scores. Many (full scores) there offered by Boosey are gargantuan in size and frequently abort transfer. The site/servers are all-around dreadfully slow.
