I just discovered that there is a catalogue of Abt's lieder:
Verzeichnis sämtlicher Lieder und Gesänge von Franz Abt
Nach d. Titeln u. Anfangsworten d. Texte alphabetisch geordnet
published by Hofmeister (around 1873, according to BSB, around 1880, according to DNB).
Any scanned version would be useful!
at BSB, at DNB

Re: Abt Verzeichnis
Seconded. (... slightly tangentially: I have really gotten to like this composer, even though he wrote in practically none of the forms I used to be most interested in. -- actually, he did write several operas and opera-like works along with his songs and song-cycles (I think...?) and early piano pieces, and it seems some cantatas in English (haven't found scores of them) toward the end of his career, too. In any case, what he did do he did very well and memorably, and that counts for a lot... erm. Apologies.)
