Brahms, Clarinet Sonatas, op.120

Post by steltz »

Not an urgent request, but the 1st edition (Simrock, 1895) scores/parts that we have at IMSLP are not good-quality scans, despite the fact that someone rated the B/W version 8/10. Everything is slightly fuzzy with some staff lines very faint, and since this has been reduced for modern paper along with its wide-ish margins, it could be more readable by enlarging again, but this will exacerbate the fuzziness, though small and fuzzy is not that easy to read either.

I don't know much about high-quality scanning, but I suspect this can't really be fixed now, and a new scan would give a crisper result.

If anyone has access to this edition, and can produce a crisp black and white scan, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
