Too bad this has only been published from the manuscript in 1996/1997. So its under Canadian copyright protection until 2047.
Anybody who has copies of the manuscript from the Bibliotheque Nationale and can download them??

Actually, Canada's first publication plus 50 years has some big exceptions. For composers dead over 50 years, it would appear that the clock starts running when the work was first published (printed and distributed), performed or recorded. If the Quintet was performed in Caplet's lifetime, the work itself is probably free in Canada - even if the edition published in 1996/1997 is not. Other countries seem to make a similar exception for determining first publication as well, which narrows the scope of Editio Princeps to items that were truly undiscovered, with no evidence of even a performance in the composer's lifetime. Not likely, in Caplet's case.

The Caplet Quintet was premiered in 1900, and performed several times after that, according to CD liner notes.

I assume the 1996 Rosewood edition, and the 1997 edition bei Verlag Gebr. Schottstädt would then only be under the 25 year copyright in the EU for critical editions, i.e. free in 2022

Let's all keep in mind that, even if this is so for Canandian law, it won't change the fact that, should it be uploaded, it'll be afflicted by the infamous [TB] because of its protection in the US.

If you are from Canada, Can you download ``Le Miroir de Jesus´´ by Andre Caplet please? I´m from Spain and I can´t do it. If you can´t send the complete score, I´m ok with the vocal score. When you have it, I will write you my e-mail. Thank you very much.

No, it is currently blocked. And it is currently under copyright where you live (in Spain). We do not allow email exchanges of scores, especially those that are protected.
