Bach Transcriptions for Piano

Post by trumpet »

Hello,

I am looking for a transcription of Ich Ruf Zu Dir (Bwv 639) for Piano. I used to play this choral on a church organ but on the radio this morning I listened to a very nice transcription of this choral for a piano, probably written by W.Kempff.

I'd be happy if someone could share this transcription or any other bach transcription for piano

Thanks in advance

If it was indeed made by Kempff, then it will not be public domain in Canada or the EU and cannot be uploaded.

According to a quick and dirty search, there is a volume of organ choral preludes transcribed for piano by Busoni and reprinted by Masters (1988, catalog M 1195) which should contain that chorale and is public domain in Canada and the US.

Thanks to you I just found the Busoni transcription on this website ! I just have to try and see if it's worth Kempff's :P
