500000 downloads per day?

I see that we have cracked the half-million mark
Number of downloads for Aug 03, 2015: 505947
Was that just a counter glitch or did it really happen? Also... does this total include all the servers (EU, CA, USA, ... )? Thanks.

It's not impossible, but that is probably a record if true.

Regarding that IMSLP has almost 330,000 scores, 500,000 is a huge number, indeed. I can't figure out if this number really reflects actual musicians downloading scores around the world. Any possibility of bots from music libraries or servers like IA downloading the entire site?
Anyway, just for curiosity, IMSLP most popular file (
#81759) has an average of 83 downloads per day since it was uploaded, while the No.100 (
#17070) has 23 downloads per day approximately .
