I noticed the other day (and just again today), that "redirects" to composer-category pages don't work when you're not logged in -- i.e., they don't go to the composer-category pages, even though they do go to those in logged-in mode. (You do get search results, of course.)

Just try these while logged out, for instance: Arensky, Musorgsky, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky, Dargomyzhsky, Cui.

What redirects? I just get the search results, whether I'm logged in or not.

Lyle I tried the redirects that you described in your message. When entering them in the search box , I get the search results and have to click on the first line of that page to get to the working redirect. Entering it into the url gives a working redirect. This both logged in or out.

I don't think this is the result of anything I changed (i.e. this is a mediawiki bug), but I'll have to look more into this.

Isn't it just some mediawiki configuration - eg the difference between "go" and "search" on wikipedia.
