Scores Still on Hold?
I still don't quite understand the reasoning behind blocking works like Schoenberg's Wind Quintet. If it's PD in Canada, y'all should be safe, right?

Re: Scores Still on Hold?
Hi,
this has been explained multiple times in these forums. The stats show that a large amount of IMSLP traffic is from the US, and IMSLP isn't currently in as strong a position with respect to possible lawsuits from US-based publishers as would be hoped (this is one of the long-term goals of the project that is being worked on). You might recall that IMSLP was off the air for nine months as a result of the Universal-Edition cease and desist? The Wind Quintet is currently blocked owing to its status under US law, not Canadian law.
Regards, Philip
