Jamulus (https://jamulus.io/) is a software technology conceived for playing, rehearsing, or just jamming with others online as if people were physically at the same place. The delay introduced by the internet connections is compensated through advanced digital signal processing functions.
On February 27th the Choral Public Domain Library (CPDL - https://www.cpdl.org) is proposing a webinar:
Even though the webinar is mainly focused on choir practice and rehearsals, the Jamulus technology may be of general interest for all musicians who may wish to play together online.

The Choral Public Domain Library (CPDL) presents an introduction to using the Jamulus software for near real-time singing. Jamulus is a software package that allows musicians in different locations to make music simultaneously as an ensemble.
We will cover an introduction to Jamulus, a comparison with other leading solutions (JackTrip Virtual Studio, Soundjack), lessons from rehearsing a choir and hosting a sing-along via Jamulus, and have an opportunity for Q+A with our panel of speakers. We will also have a Jamulus server configured to allow a limited number of spots for people to try it out in a small group to see how the latency feels for making music together. The webinar will be held via Zoom; advance RSVP required via the link below.
February 27, 2021:
1pm EST (New York, USA)
10am PST (San Francisco, USA)
7p CET (Paris, France)
