What instrument is Corni in G? I’m trying to figure out the instrumentation for Beethoven’s 4th Piano Concerto and I do not know if this is supposed to be Basset Horn, French Horn, or something else. Is it a woodwind or brass instrument?

This a French horn tuned in G, it sounds one tone higher than the usual horn in F.
