Need help identifying fragment from orchestral work

Hello all:

I have had this tiny portion of a Classical or Romantic orchestral work in my head for some time, so I played it on piano:

If that is confusing, I can also transcribe it, but I don't know if it's in the right key. I believe the tempo is correct.

I believe there is a flutes section I am missing right before the occurrence of the tonic at the end, and that the rest of it is played by strings.
I think the recording I am remembering is by the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra but I am not certain. Most likely it was by a period ensemble.

If anyone could help me identify what this could be, I would be very grateful.
