Paul Paray

Post by carson »

The Sonata for Cello and Piano by Paul Paray was first published by Jean Jobert in 1920. Even though he lived until 1979, wouldn't this work be PD in the USA? Thanks!

Do you have evidence of its publication from a source like Worldcat? If so, then yes the work would be PD-USA only. If you want to post something, you need to format your post in the form of a request, not a question, thats reserved for the Copyright Status Forum.

Thanks for your reply.
It's on worldcat where it says 1920. It doesn't say so in the score, strangely enough, but only that the year of composition is 1919.
