I've purchased a few of the Performer's Reprints editions (published in association with IMSLP) from Amazon UK and went to the website of the edition to see if anything was of interest to me. Sure enough there were a lot of things there that I would like to purchase but the lowest quote for shipping to the UK was around $23. This makes the cost of each item when added to shipping charges prohibitively expensive. What I fail to understand is, if I order a book from the USA via the Amazon UK website the shipping charges amount to less than $4. Can anybody explain this huge discrepancy in charges?
