Gernsheim wrote 2 pianto trios, Opp.28 and 37. He did not write four piano trios. q.v. New Grove, Cobbett's Cyclopedic Survey of Chamber Music and Altmann's Handbuch fur Klaviertriospieler.
Hence, Op.28 is Piano Trio No.1 and
Op.37 is Piano Trio No.2
