Is IMSLP an attack page?

Post by spradlig »

Hello:

This is my first post on this forum. I hope I chose the right subforum.

When I visited imslp.org a few minutes ago, Firefox gave me a warning that it "[had] been reported as an attack page and [had] been blocked based on [my] security preferences." The warning also stated that "many [Web pages] are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners."

To be safe, I went no farther.

I've used IMSLP several times and I'd like to keep using it.

I haven't been able to reproduce the problem. Could you please provide details, such as the URL of the specific page that triggers the warning?

Some nasty sites exploit your mistyping imslp.org e.g. imlp.org, inslp.org etc. Don't try these examples! In the most favourable cases you obtain a commercial score site but you can also obtain a harmful site.
