Publisher: Gaveaux (frères) or Frères Gaveaux?

I'm one of those who likes to keep the list of music publishers up up-to-date: https://imslp.org/wiki/IMSLP:Music_Publishers

I've come across the situation of Pierre Gaveaux (a composer represented on IMSLP) who with his brother Simon, began publishing music in 1793 under the imprint "A la Nouveauté, chez les frères Gaveaux."

My question is: Should it go under F (for Frères) or under G (for Gaveaux)? In VIAF, I see both the French & German national libraries file it under F, although I see IMSLP seems to have a preference for filing under the surname.

I'd suggest sorting under Gaveaux as less generic, just as we use Hug rather than Gebrüder Hug, but!
