I can login on IE but not on Firefox

First of all, apologies if this question has been answered before, but for a few days now I haven't been able to login on Firefox: I'm told that my cookies are disabled (I checked, and they aren't). I can, though, login on Internet Explorer, but I normally work with Firefox. What can I do to fix this?

For starters make sure you're not still logged in on the other browser. This could be one reason you're not able to get in.

Thanks. I don't start IE unless I have to. It's mainly because of the IMSLP issue, but - come to think of it - I have to do so also if I need to view a Flash video in any website, as Firefox will tell me every time that I don't have the latest version of Flash player (which I do, and - in any case - uninstalling and reinstalling Flash player doesn't change anything). It looks like I have a problem then with my computer's interaction with Firefox, and I'll look into that specifically. Thanks again.
