Correction to tagging

Hello,
I'm hoping this would be the correct place to report faulty tags. Not certain if registered used can make these changes themselves.
Ave, dulcissima Maria (Gesualdo, Carlo) is tagged as vocal/for unaccompanied voices/for four voices. There is only the one link and is, in fact, an arrangement for five recorders.
Sadly, this type of error (instrumental arrangement of a vocal work) happens more often than is pleasant, and makes searches quite inefficient and frustrating sometimes.
I am, however, deeply happy that this catalogue exists at all! It is a real treasure.
Thank you.

Every work is tagged by its original instrumentation, independent of the fact, if we have it in this form or not. In addition there is an arrangement tag in the above case. You will have to go to the workpage in order to see what´s up.

Here

For 5 recorders (arr) at the bottom of the page. Am I the only one?

What do you want to say with your contribution?

I try to say "Am I the only one who sees << for 5 recorders (arr) >> at the bottom of the page?"

I agree with you that tagging that work page with ''Scores featuring the voice''is wrong. Maybe there should be a difference between the "For ..." tags (here: ''For 4 voices''), which would refer to the original work, and the ''Scores featuring ...'' tags, which would be bound to individual files rather than whole workpages. I do not see any reason for two sets of tags if they are not used to distinguish these two concepts.
To get around the illogical nature of the current tag system, you can do this:
Start at the category page you're interested in,
e.g.
https://imslp.org/index.php?title=Categ ... e:Catintro
Click on "''' Sort this list''' by work type, instrumentation, composer, and more."
https://imslp.org/wiki/Special:Category ... the_voice/
Find the line "Pages with arrangements" and click on "exclude".
https://imslp.org/wiki/Special:Category ... angements/
At the top of the page, click on "'''Intersections:''' Scores featuring the voice && NOT Pages with arrangements"
https://imslp.org/index.php?title=Categ ... e:Catintro
The page you gave as example is now excluded from the list.
Of course, that will exclude all pages that have arrangements, even if the score for voice is actually also present.
Some of those should be obtained by restricting to "Pages with first editions" rather than excluding "Pages with arrangements". (Here I am relying on the fact that the works listed under "Scores featuring the voice" should be for voice in the original edition.)
