Would an intabulation of a madrigal still be a madrigal? Or, for that matter an intabulation of any form? Many intabulations involved much ornamentation, so while the tune would be recognizable, it wouldn't necessarily be a simple arrangement of the original. How to tag? The immediate example is Pasquini's intabulation of Cipriano de Rore's Ancor che col partire.

I've tagged it as a madrigal in the meantime but can change it if necessary.
