How to make brown pages black and white

Editing: re-sampled to 600dpi, converted to black and white tif files, de-skewed, and set uniform margins.

Hi, I got the little after recleaning and reuploading Reve d'enfant form Ysaye, so nothing went wrong. I also want to play with my pianist Berceuse op.20 of Ysaye http://imslp.org/wiki/Berceuse%2C_Op.20 ... g%C3%A8ne), but it is brown and I do not know the technique to make it black and white.
