imslpf - survival in the future

I have had the great pleasure of using IMSLPF since discovering the site earlier this year and was quite devastated to see its recent demise. Today I signed up on a similar site for the cost of US $35 per year.
I am more than happy to pay a relatively small charge for access to a wide range of printed piano music. Maybe the future of IMSLP lies in this direction and the raising of finances could ensure that no copyrights are breached.
I also contacted Jonathon Irons at Universal Edition. who insisted that at UE "we fully agree that the copyright issues should be resolved and the site (IMSLP) supported".
I hope there is a way to make this project work.
Best wishes!
