For anyone who hasn't seen the news on the Main Page, there are two new IMSLP Community Projects! Does anyone want to volunteer, or have any questions?

Both I would be very happy to participate, but have this question: is this going to be through the FTP (like the OP Project), or will we have to manually download and upload through the other sites?

Merton is going to be FTP. Those files aren't up yet.
Gaylord, you'll have to download and CR etc. - but the links are already up (get cracking!)

Please forgive me? Newbie here. What am I volunteering to by answer "yes" to this threads question.

I am a good friend and admirer of Theo Wyatt att Merton Music. (I have managed to published some
forgotten stuff from the Swedish archives by the help of Theo and Merton Music).
What can I do to help the imslp?

The Merton Project, because of the FTP nature is going to be limited to more experienced IMSLP members.

kristerp, Theo would probably send you unlocked PDF files if you wished to upload some yourself. We change the file names to include the composer's last name plus an abbreviated title just so that items can be easily identified by those uploading files from the FTP site. The files I received from Theo are clean and not in need of modification - unless volunteers wish to split pages and re-arrange in numeric order. All of the Merton files have been set up in booklet (imposition) order.

Just out of curiosity, how would I able able to contribute to the Merton project? I've done a bit of Gaylord's guitar music.

All of the files for Merton are on the FTP server, access to which is generally reserved for experienced members of the community.
