Categorization Project

Following on from this discussion in another thread, we're looking for more volunteers to help with the new IMSLP Categorization Project, which is scheduled to start in January.
This will involve editing pages to add a short phrase of text, or "tag", which describes the type and instrumentation of each composition involved, according to a specific format. More information can be found on the new Project page.
You would only need to about adding the tags, and getting them in the correct format. There are 20,000 pages involved so this will be a long-term project, with people doing as much or as little as their own time permits. Accuracy will be more important than speed
The information in the tags will then be used to help people search or browse for the works they need according to work type and instrumentation, and will replace the current system of "genres" and "sub-genres"
If you're interested then you're welcome to contact me privately by the "PM" button next to this message, or through the links on the project page.
