Forums server migration

Next Tuesday, May 7th, 2024, around 11:30 a.m. UTC, these forums will be migrated to a new server.

Users may temporarily experience some anomalies while the migration is in progress:

• unable to post because all forums and threads are temporarily locked;
• security warnings are displayed by the browser (e.g., because of SSL certificate inconsistencies);
• need to manually login, even if the automatic login option was originally selected by the user.

Everything should be normal again after the IP address of the new server propagates to all DNS servers around the world. This usually takes few hours.

Please do not hesitate to reply to this thread should any anomalies persist for many hours after the migration.

The server migration has been completed. DNS settings pointing to the new server will require few hours to propagate throughout the internet. If this message is displayed to you, you're already on the new server, so you should be allowed to login, to post, etc. .
