Babel

Introducing Babel, a system copied from Wikimedia Commons (in a simplified version) to tell others what languages you speak and find users who speak a certain language. Most tags are not yet created, but doing so is easy (instructions are on the page). Everyone is invited to put the tags on their user pages. It is not mandatory, but it would be very helpful.

If there are problems or questions, please post in this thread.

Proposal: create a similar system for instruments (see an example on WP here).

You don't have to sign up, you just have to put the template on your user page

Which would be http://imslp.org/wiki/User:Aldona for you. You can check out how other people do it (for example, Emeraldimp). Though you may have to create the templates for your instrument (or language)... but the instructions are on that page, so it shouldn't be too bad

just a note: the mother category (i.e; Category:User oboists) should be included in Category:Users by instrument.
