Re: Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody No.2

Maybe post an image of the first page for us to see on here? That might qualify as a Critical edition.

Re: Selecting a non-commercial license

No the only NC licenses we can offer is if the contributor is part of a PRO group and use the PRO licensing for upload. Otherwise they must be OK changing the licensing to a free license (CC-BY-SA or free-er).

Re: How to remove my juvenile work from IMSLP

If you submitted your works when you were under 18, we can remove any compositions that you created during that time at your request. Once you submitted a work that was created 18 years old and later the files stay on here permanently. You will need to mark which pages you want to have removed if th...

Re: How to use IMSLP API to download sheet music?

And why in the world would you want to ask about this? If your planning on mass-downloading files at once, sorry but that is completely against site rules. That is basically DDoSing the site which we have had alot of problems recently. If all your want to do is download a couple files, just click on...

Re: Duplicate pages Vivaldi Concert RV 580

Not sure what you mean as it looks like "Concerto for 4 Violins and Cello in B minor, RV 580 (Vivaldi, Antonio)" got moved to "Concerto in B minor, RV 580 (Vivaldi, Antonio)".

Re: Neue Bach-Ausgabe and copyright/urtext

I think this will make this easier if I ask the following, is the score #948982 public domain in the USA as well? It should be in Australia as far as I know. thanks, Steve No it is not public domain in the USA. Australia would have to have the 25 year rule the same as the EU for it to expire there ...

Re: Neue Bach-Ausgabe and copyright/urtext

I am kind of confused on what you mean, so the BGA editions is of course in the public domain in all regions, but the NBA edition because of the era these were published in can have multiple copyright tags based on the year it was published (well its usually only one, which is the Non PD-USA tag). T...

Re: Bartok’s Miraculous Mandarin: US copyright?

The Ballet was fully published in 1955, so that is why it is under copyright in the USA. The suite was published first in 1925, which is PD-USA. Since the Ballet has the more content here, it has a separate copyright from the suite itself (including any manuscript by the composer because the copyrig...

Re: Donation of 500+ scores by Music Edition Baroque Opera – Best Practices for Uploading?

You can absolutely add your scores on here. As time goes on, one of the copyright reviewers will leave you suggestions on your uploading. The only way to approach a project like yours is to upload them slowly over time if your uploading scenes and sections from Opera works. Projects like this are a ...
