I notice so many people upload works on IMSLP which have their own creative fingerings on them. Fingerings not taken from other public domain sources have been deemed original enough for protection in US courts, which should mean the work is under a creative commons license. How should be deal with...

It really annoys me when publishers such as the abrsm print things like 'No part of this publication may be copied or reproduced in any form or by any means without the prior permission of the publisher'.
