Re: Bartok: Concerto for Orchestra

How can one contribute? These do have bowings in them. I maybe able to find time to erase them or I can just upload them as they are. I'm certain a cleaner copy will surface.

Bartok: Concerto for Orchestra

I have just recently acquired a broken Set of Parts (just the String Parts) Are these uploadable and subject to an [TB] status?

Cheers,

Re: "Nozze di Figaro" full opera orchestral parts

I don't think these will be available, until OM Parts (Orchestral Musicians Library) makes these available. However, I know that they're in the making. When, is another question. They are focusing on, right now Verdi, Mozart, And some others. And they are also working on Ballets. Regards -DrSRo.

Khachaturian Violin Concerto

Off the topic, but I own in my private Collection The Khachaturian Violin Concerto (purchased from Kalmus before the Gatt treaty was signed 1996) Complete set of Parts + Full Score. But however this is still copyrighted and most likely won't be readily available (meaning PD status for some countries...

Puccini - Gianni Schicchi

I have a Ricordi Vocal Score will some one find out if this PD ind US? Or if this uploadable but TB status?

Details as follows,

The VS is edited by Mario Parenti (1962)

The copyright is 1918 (MCMXVIII) and 1930 (MCMXXX), by G. Ricordi & Co.

And the plate number I'm assuming is 121158

Re: Orchestral Parts Project

I hope someone keeps a mental note of this and either lets myself or Carolus know when they're released as we'd like to acquire them I'm sure. Believe me, I will definitely keep tabs on this, I find it much cheaper to purchase these OM parts, or wait for those to become available here and then acqu...

Re: Milhaud, Darius

So if we are in the "New Year" does the Pre-192? Move forward a year or is it always Pre-1923?

And if there are a number of Items, can we perhaps get them somewhere to where US clients can access them on another Server?

Milhaud, Darius

Does anyone know the Status on Milhaud's music whether or not it is PD in the US? I was just on the OM CD-R library's website and on one of the Volumes it list's Quite a few works of his.

And there's not even a page of his on imslp.org

Re: Rachmaninoff's "5th" Piano Concerto

That's a very great rendition, and superb playing of Valentina Lisitsa. I think that Warrenberg's arrangement of the Symphony is very well done, but there's too much going on in the left hand. If Rachmaninoff authorized this in his lifetime, his would be more elaborate. But indeed this was a very we...

Re: Orchestral Parts Project

I have just visited the Orchestral Musician's CD-R library website, and "In the Making" are the operas of Verdi, Puccini and Mozart, and Ballet's.

There hasn't been a released date of when these will be available but hopefully soon in the next 6mos.

Re: Tchaikovsky Mazeppa

I think that if Kalmus or Lucks decided to re-issue the Compete Opera Parts it would spruce things up here in the West. I think its a wonderful Opera and have many Violin 1 parts of several Opera's, Ballets and Symphonies in my Private Collection throughout the many years playing. But I wonder how m...

Re: Igor Stravinsky ballet parts

Actually, The OM Parts have neglected to include the complete set of parts to the Firebird (1910v). But I have a Violin 1 Part I can scan and send if anyone's interested. And it has no markings.

Tchaikovsky Mazeppa

I see that his Opera Mazeppa has the Parts for Overture. But I've spoken to some Colleague's and from what I've understood that his Complete Opera is still under Copyright and The complete opera is owned by Russian publisher VAAP and is only available by rental through G. Schirmer? Does anyone know ...
