Open Score for the Well-Tempered Clavier?
Does anyone have a free open scoring for the Well-Tempred Clavier? More specifically, I am looking for an open scoring of the fugue #4 in C sharp minor from Book #1, this fugue http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLoMsi54-nI Also, I'd prefer if most of the voices were written in standard clefs, at least ...

Hello. Anyways, I am stuck on a certain part. I'm not sure how to play this part. The part in question is...

Re: Open score for Art of Fugue by Bach
Hey, does anyone know how to do what ctesibius said, how to change the cleft and recompile the source? If I had step by step instructions, I could probably do it. I'm not a computer wiz, but I can usually follow technical instructions.

Open score for Art of Fugue by Bach
Does anyone know of a free open scoring of the 'art of fugue' for piano, meaning a score where each individual "voice" is represented individually? The thing is, I found one here on imslp http://imslp.info/files/imglnks/usimg/e/e1/IMSLP02146-BWV1080_6-10.pdf The problem with this one, howe...

No E# or B# black keys on pianos
I'm wondering why, on a standard piano, there are no black keys right above the notes B and E ? Why is it built/tuned this way?

If you send a private message, then go to your outbox and delete the message, does that mean that the recipient of the message will no longer have it as well, or does it just delete it from your menu?

Re: Bach Courante
The easiest way to think about the notation in this passage is to hold every note for its full value and to release any given note only when it "expires," regardless of the rests . The rests are to denote which voice(s) are paused and can get confusing when stacked over each other. If you...

Re: Bach Courante
Thanks Allan. I understand what you said about there being multiple voices, but I don't understand how the musical noation denotes what your saying. I think the probem is that I don't know how to read music well enough. I don't understand what it means if there are multiple rests "on top" ...

Musical Notation Help
I am playing fuge 20 in a minor from Bach's WTC book 1. I have run into a section where eight notes are connected to sixteen notes via the same beam, and I don't know wether to treat the eight notes like eights or sixteens. This is a really weird setup to me, so I was wondering if someone could help...
