Redirecting names
I've made a start at what I think is a more singer-friendly list of Songs by Mussorgsky http://imslp.org/wiki/List_of_works_by_ ... gsky#Songs
but wonder if there is a preferred way of linking names: Goethe has a redirect to Category:Goethe, Johann von; but Pushkin doesn't yet.

merge tag?
I was looking at [[Category:Other orchestrations (no less than 9 performers)]] and thinking that [[Bach-Gesellschaft Ausgabe Prefaces (Books 1-10)]] didnt quite belong. When I tried adding this: {{merge|Cantatas, BWV 1-10 (Bach, Johann Sebastian)|talk:Bach-Gesellschaft Ausgabe Prefaces (Books 1-10) ...

Re: Help with renaissance notation! :'(
The second half of the page is in triple time, using the white or void notation often found in Charpentier & Couperin. From long to short: stemless, stemmed, flagged. The colored or black notes are used for hemiolas or short-long pairs, but are the same values. Good luck! Who is the composer?

Re: What does "Stifter" mean?
"Donor", but I'm unfamiliar with this context. Are your talking about a printed titlepage?
