Looks like all has returned to normal. I'm experiencing the same problem too - identical symptoms, also in the UK.

Ah yes, thanks perlnerd666. I'm in the UK too, so I'll keep an eye on that thread, which suggests the problem is as UJ one, and as yet unresolved.
